Iceland Excursions and the Reykjavik International Film Festival have now signed a contract obliging Iceland Excursions to provide transportation and guiding for private tours for the invitees and journalists of the festival.
"It gives us great pleasure to be a part of this project as we have been enforcing the film festival the past years with similiar services. Our goal is simply to show these individuals the beauty of Icelandic nature in hopes of awakening some interest among them to consider Iceland as a feasible location for shooting commercials or films here as it´s promotional values is indisputable,” says Þórir Garðarsson, Sales and Marketing chief of Iceland Excursions.
The supervisors of the film festival are ecstatic with the co-operation and according to Hrönn Marinósdóttir, the festival´s chief supervisor, it is essential to be working with a travel agency like Iceland Excursions. “It´s of course very important to be working with the company as it solves all our transporting needs and the availability for them to tour outside of Reykjavik.”
